Best find of my life!! I never thought I’d consider parting with my CDI set and box but I don’t know how I can let these go!!
My understanding is the casino was run by a father and son pair who have both passed away. These chips were given as payment for a $40 debt to the guy I bought them from. He says he’s had these for around 30-40 years. Thinks this is about half of the total chips from the card room but has no idea where the other chips are today.Incredible! What’s the story? (In both the casino and finding the chips)
Again congrats!

He responded to a wanted ad that I placed and we made a deal.
I’m pretty excited about the chips, obviously!

They really are. I’m shocked!Damn! And the condition seems to be close to near mint. Insane.
Congratulations!
Leave it as is lol!I’m considering relabeling the ones in this set as fracs and adding a shaped inlay chip as a new $1 because I like to have at least 300 $1s in my sets.
Any recommendations on what chip could fit as a $1?
Then give me a recommendation for a frac!!Leave it as is lol!
+1. When you have a one of a kind complete set sacrifices are justifiedLeave it as is lol!
Hahaha play $1-$1!Then give me a recommendation for a frac!!
I know, I know…. Old habits and such…This sets too cool to murder man don't do it. Usually people murder to make a set more playable. This is perfectly playable. Do you use three racks of $1s for a single table? If so, super overkill lol
