Looks like Hustler got new chips. At least for the Ante Game.

I took a couple of screenshots on my phone.
25s are still Paulson. Rest I guess are Matsui?

Personally not a big fan of the new chips and colors, but casinos aren’t too concerned about that.

Gross. At least they’re not ICON chips.
Is it just me... I think the chips look fine. The label of the 100 looks better than the 1k and 5k in my opinion. Color choices could be better.
I had a Matsui sample and I liked the chips a lot regarding haptic, weight and how they shuffle. But of course very slick.

To each their own. Personally, they give off the same vibe as cheap plastic chips like the Monte Carlos, etc. Matsui is unquestionably better quality, but that's about all they have going for them imo.

Funny, since the high-end plastic chips (from Bud Jones, B&G, etc) were around first. The cheap plastic copies from China actually had a 'high-end vibe' when first introduced....

In my theory Hustler switched to Matsuis because of a security reason. Why else should Hustler still have Paulsons for the lower denoms (1s to 25s).

Anyone able to replicate their older colors? Looked like the Miami dolphins. Haha.

I'm warming up to these chips overall. They are decently legible while watching the stream, although the 5k chips are slightly worse now as the white spots can blend with the $100 chips.

Far from the worst chips on a live stream, but a downgrade overall..

Who's had a chance to handle these? Which Matsui are these like - Emerald Bay, Radisson, other?

I don’t understand why hustler would choose black $1000s And blood red $5000s. They have so many other color options.

I think the 1k is actualy a very dark green. They chose pretty much the same base colors as with their paulson. Maybe these are official cali colors. I don't know.

From their stream today:

"The old $5k chips were the nicest chips of any casino I've ever touched in my life"

The players also agree that IHC is far superior to the new plastic chips. Not that it's a surprise, but at least they notice and appreciate Paulson chips for what they are.

Nik playing Omaha after yesterdays bankroll bleed is sick. Also him speaking what I assume is Chinese is pretty cool.
