New Casinos / New Chips Thread (3 Viewers)

Ah I missed the $300 chip talk. I experienced my first $300 chip recently too. This casino/card room has all Bud Jones chips except for the 300 which is a sick chip:

The Red Lion in Elko, NV has rebranded as the Maverick Casino Hotel.

I like the logo but the chips are not exciting. I guess they went with chips that would wear slower rather than nice THC chips that would be more appealing to us collectors.
They probably went with the cheapest thing they could get their hands on.

Despite an oversized label RHC, I think my new local Bally's chip isn't half bad..better than some of the other rebranding's in the last year.

I'm actually a fan of the oversized label (maybe I should have posted that in the Controversial Opinions thread.) The helvetica on the other hand...

I shared this in the other thread...the off-center inlays are tilting me!
At least center the Indianapolis:

Even then , they still look wrong.
It is centered, relative to the "HORSESHOE" bit. But you're not wrong, it looks wonky in either place. It's just a crappy design.

Has anyone ever tried to remove an oversize inlay? Even with damage to the bottom of the hat, those might be respectable as relabels.

i'm surprised no one posted these yet.

I can’t decide if these are amazing or horrible. I do give them points for being willing to break from convention. It’s a shame some of the typography on the denoms is so clunky.
