I love the peach on the $1s! Serious question -- how can I obtain quarter chips in a casino? I tried asking about the yellow fracs at (1) the main cage, (2) the table, and (3) at the poker table cage and all three said "we don't have quarters for any tables" even though they had them nestled in front of the dealers. I even tried mentioning I'm only getting them as gifts. I'm assuming they're only used for paying out fraction-ed wins. Any advice? Sorry @Pippa no fracs this go

In Casinos, there’s are some games that take house rake so they had to give out quarters when paying out

It will be possible to play those game and get friendly with the dealer, give a small tips in exchange for the quarters in their rack will also helped

Short answer:
That ship has long since sailed and you won't

Longer and more complete answer:
The size of the games played in card rooms and Casinos has exceeded the need for any sort of fractionals now for roughly 40-50 years. There are some exceptions like in my cardroom there is still a once a week 2/4 stud game which is literally dieing from old age. They use 25c chips for the Antes. There may be a few in the chip trays, but the chips are literally NEVER seen except in this one very small game and only on Tuesdays which is the one day they have been playing that game for like 20 years.

When I first got interested in any sort of gambling in card rooms/casinos was roughly 1985 and already by that time it was very tough to find a $1 craps game. They were out there, but you had to search. In a $1 min bet craps game a quarter was in play all the time because of the odds and payouts etc. I mention craps only because that is a pretty good indicator of the need for a fractional chip in Casinos..

With inflation there is just no way any Card Room or Casino can run games that small and still make any money so they don't.

The Solution:
You either have custom chips made or you murder some chips and get a matching or close enough labels made to match the rest of your set.

If casinos need denominations of less than $1 nowadays, they just use actual quarters or 50 cent pieces.

Are the 1k and 500 oversized? Or is it just the photo that makes it looks that way. Has there been any recent oversized house mold? Even the WSOP are IHC.

These from Hard Rock Lake Tahoe and Choctaw Pocola are probably my favorite newer chips, but most recent new chips are not so good.

Stopped for a bit on my way home yesterday. Mehhh.... I have a picture (poor quality) of the snapper here.

I've heard they're suppose to have a 12-table poker room but didn't see it. I guess that'll be in phase 2 of their build-out.
