Does anyone like these 'premium' Paulsons? I have never held them but I don't care for the look.

They look neat, but feel and weight is a drawback for me.

I haven't handled them, but I love them. Strat doesn't pitch poker anymore, so I'm unlikely to return to the casino. If I did, I'd only play craps, so stacking or even really handling the chips isn't a factor.
Oversized inlay with household seems uh…. badly conceived?
Is it a tournament chip? Seems strange that there is no currency symbol for cash.
Now that you mention, that’s definitely confusing. It has different sides: one side celebrating 25yrs, with the $25 shown in the other side

I was on vacation in Barcelona this week and of course I visited the local casino. Collecting Chips and continue my Ship Design Study
It seems the Casino Barcelona recently had a rebranding, inclouding new Name an new Chips (you can still see the old Name "Gran Casino Barcelona" on the Plaques).
These are the Chips I saw at this evening:
Photos of the "new" ones:
And the "old" ones:
For me a Downgrade.
And weird Denomations as well (0.5, 1, 1.25, 5, 10, 50, 100. 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 20000).

1.25 it's for commission in punto-banco: a minimum bet of 25 euro on banco pays 1.25 euro commission (I saw the same in Madrid and in Italy at Saint Vincent)
250 it's a spanish oddity, I only found it in Spain: the same chip it's used in Madrid and in Sevilla, it's a residuate from old peseta currency (25 pesetas coin and its multiples)
10 and 50 euro chips are pretty common in european casinos, so definitively no oddity in it
