Moving states soon so taking the chance to rethink structure for my cash game. About half my players will be the same, and they’re the crazier guys, new half are much more serious and want/regularly play much bigger games, so I want to step up the action a bit.
We typically play 5¢/10¢ online cause that has some of the tighter players and we see so many hands. And then we do 25¢/25¢ or 25¢/50¢ live. 25¢/50¢ a couple weeks ago went 6pm to 4am and we ended with about $4k in play.
25¢/25¢
$50-$100 buy in (everyone will pick $100)
Match half the stack
Primarily NLHE
Here’s things I’m considering adding. I can give my reasoning but curious just to get initial reactions to this set.
I like that each of these are somewhat random, revolved around affecting pot size instead of direct payments from players, and don’t require side game incentives tracked between hands.
Aside from game choice, what would you like or not like about playing in this?

- 6BB kill and pineapple next hand after pot over $150
- 4bb UTG rock from 7pm - 10pm. Switches to a ghost dealt 1 card after 10pm
- 4bb Double board plo bomb pot next hand after monotone flop
- When a player is stacked and rebuys, they may call a bomb pot of their choice (board count, game) on their first hand back
