So this story has an interesting second chapter. Before this thread appeared, I was one of the people that reached out to the seller and told her I was very interested but it was a three hour drive for me and would she consider mailing them. I also told her the she was undervaluing the chips and I would happily pay her twice what she was asking. I didn't hear anything from her until Saturday afternoon when she replied that she was sorry but she had sold them that morning but thank you because after the unexpected amount of demand for the chips she sold them for $300. We exchanged pleasantries and I chalked it up as an opportunity lost.
Then last night, she sent me this picture and asked if I was interested?

As this appeared to be the cash portion of the Nevada Jacks set that
@Flopalopagus purchased, needless to say I said yes and offered $300, which she accepted. She asked if I was interested in the other listing of plastic chips she had up and I declined. We got to discussing the details of shipping and payment, when she said her husband hadn't realized that he had these too. When we finalized the details, she said "But wait there’s more lol yes quite a collection of other chips as well." So I said LOL, Okay, let's see them and she sent this picture.

My jaw dropped. For those that don't know the backstory of how I came to PCF, I owned a large cash and tournament set of the Modern Clay, Protege and Inplay chips from Sidepot.com. I sold them on here to fund the purchase of a custom set from
CPC shortly before the sale. So I recognized them immediately and was in love again with the chips I had played with for 20 years So needless to say I said I wanted them and we agreed to a price. Half joking, I asked, "I am almost afraid to ask but do you have any others?" And she sent me this picture...

So I asked her if her family owned Sidepot or something and said I was interested in these too. At that point, I figured the sheer size of the sale now justified the trek to Long Island. So we agreed to meet up and I made the 3 hour drive to Long Island this morning and the 4 hour drive home but arrived safe and sound with the motherlode of poker chips. So shout out to
@Mushmanchuman who mentioned in his post about getting the Casino de Isthmus chips that were on FBMP that "It always pays to be personable when buying on Facebook. It’s help me knock down killer purchases quite a few times. Oh yeah and overpay so the seller is more than happy to get them on the road." This story bears that out in spades. Or in Jacks, Clays and Archetypes.
Here are the pictures after I got them home. They are pure mint. The seller said she doesn't think they were ever played but her father in law just liked collecting them. The edges are so sharp they can literally nick your fingers.
