Is anyone in the know as to why the Nevada Gaming Control Board is no longer updating its chip and token report? I was reading a post on the chip collectors page on FB discussing this with no conclusive answers. In the same post, they were also suggesting that Nevada is no longer approving special edition chips for casinos. Ill guess there wont be many CNY chips this year if true.

Looks like the prices on special edition chips will start increasing as they wont be allowed to make anymore moving forward.
They will still make special edition chips. The Nevada Gaming Commision just won't be issuing monthly reports with new chip information.

Wow that would really suck if no special edition chips would be allowed going forward.:confused
Time will tell if this will happen or not, but i dont like the wording I hear in that letter from the gaming commission.
Never knew they had a database of such info available to the public, best to make an offline copy of what data they have listed before they yank that off the site too!
