I'm looking to make a small set of chips for micro stakes cash games. I'm thinking of doing $20 buy-ins and realistically expect no more than 4-5 people will be playing. What would be a good breakdown if I want to have a small set of around 300-350 chips?

For a 10¢/25¢ 5-handed game, and a bank of about $200 for nights when you might have multiple rebuys, here’s a suggestion:

10¢ x 100
25¢ x 100
$1 x 100
$5 x 20

That’s 320x chips. Should be good for your game.

I generally like that line of thinking, but would go 5c/25c/$1/$5 or 10c/50c/$1/$5

10c and 25c in play inevitably makes blinds and change harder. Plus someone will bet 95c to make things difficult,

(350 Chips — $237 Bank)
125 - 5 Cent
125 - 25 Cent
75 - 1 Dollar
25 - 5 Dollar

(300 Chips — $210 Bank)
100 - 5 Cent
100 - 25 Cent
80 - 1 Dollar
20 - 5 Dollar
