Making a mixed cash game set. Already have 1's & 5's. Looking for a barrel or two of some cool looking $10 chips and 1 barrel of $20 chips.

10s are silly if you have 5s and 20s. Each chip should be 4-5x the value of the next lower chip. Just put down 2 5s to make $10.

I can at times disagree with the prevailing wisdom of PCF but for the most part they are just correct. It took me a long time to break my resolve and start running my game as 25c/25c. and wow is it more practical.

I never thought about it before talking with people here but yeah - $10 chips just are not practical. There is a reason almost all casinos go from $5 to $20 or $25.

Obviously you are free to do as you please but there is good reason people here are not in favour of using $10 chips as we have all been in that situation as well.
