Hi all, I’ve recently found my grandpas old poker chip collection after his passing and I’m interested to know more about them. I’d like to know if there’s anything special in the collection or anything of true value,.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Player258.

I am not a single chip specialist, even though I have thousands of such chips.

Most single chips are worth a dollar or two. The five dollar chips might be "worth" face value if they are still in use, "live: - - - but you would have to go to the casino to get paid.

It is possible there is a true gem mixed in your lot of chips. Maybe a chip or two worth $25 - $200, at best. Possible, not likely.

Altogether, the collection is worth $100 - $200 plus or minus in my opinion.

There are other members here who will be far more experienced in valuing such a lot. Take their opinion over mine.

The true value is as a family keepsake. Your grandpa looked like he got a chip or two from places he visited. I am sure he had a great time gathering those chips. Those memories are the true value of your collection -=- DrStrange

I recommend give Claude this picture with the picture and tell him “do deep research, think hard and use maximum effort to tell me approximate values and everything you find out that is reluctant”
