Here is a few pics of my custom set I had made probably 15 years ago through ASM. They are on the Roman mold. You can obviously tell in the pics the chips that I just oiled.

At the time I had these done that was my favorite mold available. If I remember correctly I had to send some back to have redone because of mold issues.

No I never sold any of these. It is very weird.

Could be another instance of Red selling off extra chips. It's happened before. If it's your design and spinettis picked up all of Red's sell-offs just contact them.

To be fair, I'm not positive of the specifics. I *think* (in the case of the other extras) they were like seconds. Not really good enough to send to the buyer. And God knows Red Ott had pretty lax standards.
@BGinGA could probably tell you the whole story.

i did have to send some back when I got them originally as some were really bad from the mold, but the chip in the pick looks good.

He sold off 3 racks of my customs that had to be remade. Can't remember who but I got the info from a member here who had bought them when I saw them in a gallery, but ghosted me when I tried to get any more info.

My memory is hopelessly unreliable, so I can’t remember what colors were sent back.

Same. Mine were old ASM. Likely sat around a warehouse for years and sold when Red took over.

I got a reply on eBay and they said the got like 1,000 chips when ASM was sold with other things they purchased. They blamed ASM for the mistake. No mention of reuniting the chips with the set.

Who is Red?

Great chips. The inlays look just like my three buddy’s who had the internal designer make their design for them. The exact same fonts!

I also bought my ASMs in that era 2002-2004 and has originally wanted that mold. I kind of remember the woman there talking me out of it for some reason. Ended up going with the circle square.
