My Apologies to @chicubs1988 (3 Viewers)

Well this was quite a surprise this morning. For the record I’m not ignoring anyone, not sure why my account shows me being active, I’m assuming I must have PCF open on my desktop at home or something. For those wondering about the situation, @Pippa reached out to me about wanting to buy chips that I had listed for trade as an attempt to reunite chips with sets (My Paulson fantasy purple thread which @JesterTX and @allforcharity can attest to).

Unfortunately he posted and reached out numerous times wanting to straight up buy chips that weren’t for sale. He was apparently able to work out a multi-way trade last week in which @RivieraDanny would ship me a rack of CDIs, I would ship a rack of VLV $500s to @Pippa, and Danny would get $$.

I waited to ship my end until actually receiving the chips just as a precaution given some of the recent scams and the fact that I’m mailing to someone outside the US who is using a re-shipper.

I received my chips on Saturday afternoon, thus Monday was literally the first possible attempt I had to possibly go to the post office to mail the chips. I’ve currently got the chips sitting in my office with the intent of dropping them off at the post office once I get a chance to sneak out for an errand.

Frankly, I think being put on blast publicly like this given the timelines and dealings is pretty ridiculous, especially given the fact that I had nothing to gain in this whole transaction. I’m literally just swapping chips with someone, who reached out to me, in order to help them complete a set since my chips will be getting relabeled.

Good lord, @Tommy strike this thread from the record.

For all you boomers out there, AFK means Away From Keyboard. AKA the computer is on and nobody's there. I 100% of the time have multiple PCF tabs open in the background on my desktop, phone and ipad, so it may show I'm online 24/7 even when I'm off living my life and not responding within seconds to messages. Let's all take a deep breath and calm tf down.

I say most pokerplayers have trust issues. We have been bluffed so many times..

But seriously I think @Pippa owns apology and maybe a nice bottle of single malt...

Three pages for a false alarm. :wow:

Everyone can calm down, the matter is resolved and I’ve suffered no real damage. Just a bit of unnecessary internet drama.
Don't worry, no one ever doubted you.

FTR, @Pippa's alarm can be justified by the recent scamming going on. I'm not saying it was right to call out a user with an impeccable record, in just saying it's understandable. This thread should serve as an example of being specific regarding expectations/timing and understanding how a person who shows 'Online' might not really be online.

I do 11 pages for a giveaway for a sock full of applesauce. This is the way.
