I am just curious what deems the new palace fracs as very rare?
I know of at least 100-200 together grabted there's a 2 different stamps but if you can explain I'd really like more info on this please

Glad you asked!!
So the “Palace Casino” Fracs are the much more common ones, and likely the ones you’re thinking of if you’re referring to hundreds in quantity. The “New Palace” fracs, however, are significantly more rare. They were pulled off the casino floor within the first few days of release. I’m aware of this because other (more knowledgeable) MS collectors confirm this, and it’s also stated in the Chip Pricing Guide, see p373 new edition.
I've seen the palace fracs as well but I am actually referencing the new palace fracs I remember specifically collecting them for someone
Yep, the "New Palace" frac is the rare, pricey one. I think there are probably more than 8 of them out there but not many more. Cheers!

I remember when that guy was making those "only 8 of these got out" claims on eBay too. Amazing that crap made it into the pricing book... so I feel for it and paid like $15 each for a couple of them... he would only sell one at a time.
But then another person started selling them and it wasn't long before the "only 8 of these escaped" was BS.
Went down and grabbed 3... I thought I had more. Gotta check my yellow quarters
But FAR more that 8 of these made it out. I have seen several at the convention from folks asking quite a bit for them now. But about 5 years ago they were about $15 each and quite a few sold through eBay...

If you’ve got three as well, that would bump my known count up to 11 then.
The whole “8 total” is simply untrue, which has already been stated in OP. The chip is not an R8, but it’s difficult to find, making it rare IMO.
