I thought maybe it would be fun for some people to come in here and make some detailed posts about some chips, and why they think they are some of the most underrated chips available. These could be Dice chips, because you honestly believe that the value, for what you get out of them is an absolute steal, that there isn't a better entry level chip out there, the Outlaws, or it could be some chip that is $1.50/chip (let's be real though), if you think that it is the best value for the money, and maybe a great bang for the buck. These will probably tend to be more beginner sets understandably.

Obvi...I'll go first.
The Jackpot Casino Coin Inlay
Yes...I said coin inlay, and poker in the same thread... Hear me out.
This is definitely a beginner set, or somebody that isn't into chips...
You have all of those plastic imitation chips with slugs in them...that call themselves poker chips. Here, instead of covering it with a sticker, they have stamped the metal coin, so that it looks like it's supposed to be there. I know it's no the MOST glamorous..But to me there is a big difference in weighing down your chip with a slug, vs making the most of it and using it to your advantage. So, working it into the chip helps these chips win over the rest of the slugged chips IMO.
This set is a circa 2005 or so set I think. Originally it was on 5stardeal.com I think. I think it was made in the early days of Trademark Poker. However, you can still find them pretty readily available if you do some searching. I've seen barrels of 25chips on Amazon for 1.99 as an add-on product. I've seen them on eBay for 30 cents per chip, and that's about the most expensive I've seen them. Most often it's been right around that 13-15 cent/chip mark.
The colors are simple, distinguished, and the edge spot design is fair, poker themed.
These chips are a plastic mold, obvi, but, they have aligned edge spots, and, the plastic is a bit 'softer' feeling than some of the other plastic chips. More like a bud jones mold that you could almost peel your finger into. It's hard to explain, but it also gives them a better sound, and feel than a standard plastic chip.
Knowing that A LOT of newer players like the feel and sound of HEAVY chips...these definitely fit that bill, at 12.2 grams. I don't love the weight, but again it works in with these chips in particular because it seems like they are meant to look, and feel heavy. It matches the stigma of the chip itself. Now, when you really get into casino chips, and see the standard, then of course the weight of these chips is a huge turnoff. But show these to people who've had the typical dice chip experience, and they'll think these are real casino chips. I've actually seen several casinos that use coin inlay chips on their blackjack tables, and these feel like a higher quality, no joke. They are sturdy, stack well, shuffle well, one of the best beginner sets
