There are plenty of Stefan here!
Usually we play at Stefan's day (26 Dec.) and we already had 4 Stefans at the table! 2-3 is standart.

Mother. As in that mother f'er raised me, or, I can't believe that mother f'er called me with that.
 
This is a strange exercise, but if you're going for a random sample of people I'd go with the top 10 names for births in X year.

So just call everyone Muhammed and you'd be right 25% of the time.
What makes you think the poker player pool is the same demographic as a random sample. I would argue that it's very different.


Steve, Chris, Mark, Tony, and our #1 name here in California believe it or not is Lisa
In California the #1 name might be Lisa, but I would bet any amount of money that Lisa is not anywhere near the top of the most common poker player names. Lisa is a woman's name &
by anyone's measure poker is a game that is played by many more men than women.

So pretty common names from different countries as well at your average game, and a lot of the ones who share names are similar in age to each other as well.
