Semi-permanent price drop.

[1/1/26 UPDATE]

Happy New Year!

I just slashed the price on the Modianos and some other items for New Year's.

Plus, the PCFVIP2025 code should still work for MORE discount if you spend $30+.

But wait, that code seems out of date. There's also a new, secret unpublished discount code that will get you an even bigger discount. I wonder what it could be.... and do both codes work at the same time?

>>>>> CLICK HERE TO ORDER CARDS <<<<<

These are poker size, jumbo index Modiano Platinum setups, red + blue.

This thread is for questions, comments, feedback, secret promo codes, and anything else related to these cards.

Also, if you're looking to turn this into a full retail gig, PM me. I've been itching to do a card group buy but don't have the capital to meet MOQ's for most printers.

Any bulkd shipping discounts?

The system should already make it a bit cheaper (on a per-deck basis) as you order more. But the formula might not be quite right at the extremes. Still fine-tuning it to make it as accurate as possible.

I'll DM you to hash out some details and check on this.

I bought the Modiano Plats from @TheLemursReturn through the BurnCard.shop

I got the discount for early buyers. And the cards were delivered fast.

And here's my review of the cards:

These are among the best cards I have used in my games. The plastic, being 100% acetate makes them have a "softer" feel and less rigid than cheaper plastic cards.
(Modiano also makes a "Texas Poker" version that is made of a stiffer plastic which is not as nice as the Plats.)

I prefer the large index cards as they are just easier to read, especially when you are far away from the community cards.

These are also poker sized (normal, or wide sized). I prefer the narrower bridge sized cards, but if the poker sized cards are your thing, you'll love these.

Let's take a look.

Card backs feature the Modiano compass rose. Backs are not full bleed and have a white border around the edge.

Each deck comes with three jokers (black, red and blue), and red and yellow cut card.

The setup comes in a covered plastic tray/box that has rectangular hole on the bottom so you can easily push the deck up and out of its holder.

Here's a look at the A, 4, and Q of each suit.

I find it interesting that the pips of all the numbered cards are in a light yellow field, but the face cards are on a white background.
One of my players would prefer that all the cards just have a white background.

All the Spades.

Worth the price?
In this case you get what you pay for. I didn't feel like it was a waste of money buying these cards.
With the price of Kem and Copag going up, it makes these Modiano seem like a better deal. YMMV.
If you've never owned Modiano Plats, I say give them a try.

These are some of the finest cards available imo.
I say „your“ US version (Guild) is even better.
Best print i saw on cards so far.

And you can flatten them all, if they‘re warped.

@Carnth
Thank you for your review—especially the comparison with Modiano’s Texas Poker cards which I’ve played before.
Sounds like these are worth trying

definitely a better deal. KEMs are too much $$$.

Slashed the price on these Modianos for a few days.

And the PCF coupon code should stack, further reducing the price.

Grab 'em before the sale ends!

You too!

I'm going to be honest. When I saw that the thread title had changed to "NY" sale, I thought "what does New York have to do with it."
This is why I should not stay up late anymore.

Really?? I'll buy another two setups of Plats if you tell me!

I wonder what it could be.... and do both codes work at the same time?
OMG. You're going to make me try to figure this out when I have a hangover and thought that "NY sale" had something to do with New York.

Ok. Wait. Let me try to figure this out....
the PCFVIP2025 code should still work

Ok. That cose did still work. So that's good.

But wait, that code seems out of date.

There's also a new, secret unpublished discount code

Yes, trying to figure that out.

New.... what? Oh wait, New YEAR.

I got it! Both codes worked for a really nice discount. Two setups ordered.

You solved the puzzle! I really hope you posted that on a PC because I'd want to cut my fingers off if I tried to format all those partial quotes on my phone.

Thanks for the order! Should I drop in some Advil?

Of course I did that on the phone. Because why not make it easier on me. It took me about 30 minutes.
