For Sale Mizpah HHR/CPC sample set (1 Viewer)

$45 for the Set!

Someone more knowledgeable than myself can probably relay the actual story behind these Chips but I believe they were produced in the early 90s as a CPC tribute set and then were (maybe?) tried to be used as chips at the actual casino before they caught on? Anyway, I got these on eBay last year. Paid $8 + shipping for most of them. Offering as a partial sample set of 7 (nr/mint).

Didn’t all the Borland stuff come on the Nevada mold?

"Imitation - 200 Sets made. Reportedly, the licensed owner of the Mizpah was involved in having the chips manufactured. One story has it that the chips were made with the intent to deceive collectors and dealers, and another is that they were made as souvenirs with no deception intended."

Says they were made in 1993.

Oh yeah, my mistake. He like the Nevada and diecar molds. Twas the original poster’s suggested year of manufacture that made me wonder.
