I got my sample chips from @Apache and love them. I hope to order today, but looking for recommendations building tourney set up to 16 players. My budget is 1000 chips and would like to include denoms $100 and up. I have an idea, but would love to hear from some.

@Chris Manzoni when do you cut off the optional re-entry? And how do you handle late arrivals? Not just a few minutes late, but an hour or so late.
Thanks for your input. I have never really had anyone just not show up, or show up super late without a heads up. I do have people that for whatever reason they just can’t get here at the start time and in some cases it’s up to or about an hour late. In this case we put their stack out, pay their blinds, deal to them and fold them when their turn for action. This also means shuffling and dealing for them as well. Not all participants appreciate this gesture. Your bonus for on time arrival and exact change is brilliant! I’m sure that will solve the stragglers that think their Starbucks coffee is more important than showing up on timeRe-entry ends after the first break. An hour late with no text or phone call has never happened. I do put out a stack for everyone on the invite list who has confirmed they are coming. If one of my expected guests is over 15 minutes late I call or text, if there’s no response I pull their chips. If they were then to show up before the break I would still let them enter but I would need an acceptable explanation for them to get invited back. After the break there are no new entries allowed. Someone who just shows up unexpectedly without an rsvp, I allow them to play but I make it clear going forward that they need to lock up a seat and not just show up unannounced.
What? GTFOH…Just so you're aware, Goldfish Crackers aren't made from goldfish.
The PCF site reduces photos. Use a 3rd party photo hosting site like Imgur. Copy the link “for forums” or something like that, and it will post a version that can be zoomed to high resolution.Deleted
Having trouble uploading full resolution photos. Im starting with a 10MB png and it becomes a 5% of that size. Trying to sort it out.
Looks great…… congratulations! Mine are getting felted tonight. I’m hoping for the same resultBroke in my first tourney set last night with a first place finish! These chips look and perform incredibly well. They are a small feat of collective effort and human engineering.

Seven players. Two busted out within first hour and bought back in. People appreciated the three hour tourney so a bit of cash gaming could occur.10K stack and 15 minute levels. Turbo game about 3 hours? How many players?

Good luck!
Do you mean Tinas in general? Web mold in general? These chips don’t stack very well, they are quite slippery
Idk Do you mean Tinas in general? Web mold in general?
Well we'll let @BirdCage share his thoughts..Idk I got some from Apache , those exact chips, and from the picture above the guys stack looks very messy that’s just because they slide very easy and fall over
That's a lot of pressure! Here are my thoughts & impression. After a couple of tournaments with the 39mm Mirage replica chips, the word slippery never came to mind. My chip stacks (up to 20 high) never fell over and I didn't notice other players have any tell-tale stacking issues either.Well we'll let @BirdCage share his thoughts..
I figured since others were bitching and moaning amongst themselves (publicly) that I'd start a public fued with Tonystark...have you lost your mind? Fracs are the most important, therefore need to be the best looking chip, in the set! Next to the 5's and 20's.Eh Fracs are meant to be boring imo.
