Mikki on Soft White Underbelly (3 Viewers)

My opinion hasn't changed since when he was on HCL back in the day - it really seems like 90%+ of what he says is bullshit.

Also, what a shitty interview. Mikki made so many statements that warranted obvious follow up questions but the interviewer just kept tossing softballs and jerking him off.

I mean this affectionately, you don't get the point of the interviews then. Many people on the show are homeless, or drug addicts, or have something out-of-the-ordinary that they're bringing to the interview. The interviewer isn't a hard-hitting drill down to the truth journalist, he's just a guy that's interested in allowing people to tell their story. He's not going to fact-check those stories. He's not questioning Mikki to find the truth, he just wants to interview someone who calls himself a professional gambler, just like others come on the show to talk about heroin addiction, or BDSM fetishes, or prostitution.

Not sure what you'd have the interviewer do? Its a free YouTube video lol, not 60 Minutes. Why alienate the interesting person who wanted to come on your show?

Because he's not actually an interesting person in the way that he presents himself. He's a lying con artist who only agreed to get "interviewed" so he can continue to spew his obvious lies, just as he does with every other appearance he's ever done.

I agree with @eightyWon, the interviewer stroked his ego just like every other Youtuber does with him, probably because they're being paid by Mikki to do so. The entire video is a farce on both sides, with Mikki and Soft White Underbelly both playing into each others hands with Mikki lying and the interviewer pretending to believe him. It serves both of their personal interests to keep the charade going.

Much less of an "interview with a professional gambler" and much more of a "YouTuber shills for con artist".

Sheesh, some real vitriol. I disagree that he's not interesting, I think that's pretty subjective. Not saying I'm impressed by him but getting a significant number of face tats then slowly removing them is a life I don't understand. Much like the heroin addict who says that life would've been so different if they only did X or Y hadn't happened, do you really expect this interviewer to press them on those things? Mikki is just another version, you're watching someone tell a story and play a role.

What other YouTubers interview him? I'm not a Mikki enthusiast. Have you been watching his interviews? It sounds like you have an entrenched position on this random gambler lol.

You really think Mikki is paying this YouTube channel to interview him? The "probably" in that sentence is doing an awful lot of work. We can say that yes, obviously the channel gains when they interview people, thats the hustle, but to say Mikki is "probably" paying them to get interviewed seems very silly.

I didn't say he wasn't an interesting person, just not an interesting person in the way he presents himself. He's still interesting because of the tats, the scams, the money, the whatever, but he presents himself as interesting because he's a "professional gambler who beat the casino's in Vegas", which is obviously not true.

I know it sounds like I'm really heated about the whole Mikki thing, and it's not that I'm some Mikki stalker watching all of his videos, but I just can't believe I keep seeing more and more of these videos. I can't believe that people still believe him. I can't believe that these YouTubers keep going along with his charade. Every video is another example of two parasites feeding off each other as they manipulate people for views.

The most disgusting example of the whole Mikki thing, and the one that really put him on my radar and made me dislike him and any YouTuber he interacts with, was Spencer Cornelia's series with Mikki (who bases his channel around calling out scammers) called out Mikki for being a fraud, then within like a week met up with Mikki and reversed his entire position, and now claims to believe his stories about beating the casinos.

It's just the fact that it's the most insane lie I've ever heard, and no one calls him out for it. He beats the casinos? He's the only one in the world who figured out a strategy to beat games with a built in house edge? It's like if I told everyone I could fly, and instead of anyone asking to see it for themselves or asking how I do it, I just tell people I used to fly all the time, but now the government clipped my wings and I can't fly anymore. Although, I can still teach other people to fly if they follow me on Instagram and pay for my flying course. And instead of anyone saying "stop scamming people you obvious liar", they say "please come on my podcast and recant us with stories about all the times you flew so high - we'll call it an interview and give you exposure".

Okay, I can see where you're coming from; that other YouTuber's whole point is to call out scammers. He's an entertainer but has the justice flair, I get that. I don't see that deeper message coming from this channel though, so I don't fault him for letting the guy spin his tale. It sounds like we've got very different algorithms, you've watched a whole series of videos about him from a different channel and I've literally never seen his face outside of Hustler Casino. I don't know what he's conning people to do and won't look him up any further, it sounds like ragebait that worked on you.

He's had people on there saying they could fly; most of them were addicted to drugs. He didn't question the rationale. I don't watch the interviews for some type of investigative justice like that other YouTuber, I watch them to have voices in the background telling stories.

Anyways, I totally see where you're coming from now, we expect very different things from YouTube videos. Thanks, done with this.

Yeah I’ve got some real vitriol for the guy too. I’m not proud of it. But it seems clear to me that he’s a lying con man and I really really can’t stand listening to people lie.
I'm not surprised in the slightest. But to you everyone in marketing or entertainment are also conmen!

I dunno. He definitely gives off con man vibes. But I’ve been following for years and I haven’t found anything where he tries to con me. It’s an enigma. His baccarat system seems just like trend tracking which sounds like bullshit unless the casinos got so greedy they unrandomized the deck to exploit betting tendencies. My guess is bullshit

But con men usually try to con people out of something? Maybe just full of shit but a cool dude?

yes. He seems like a con man, but I guess I can't say what his con is. So I shouldn't say that. To me, full of shit and cool dude are mutually exclusive, but I get your point.

Does he lose some tattoos? I seem to remember him with a lot more tattoos in the past.

There are some old YT videos that dug up some history about him; apparently, he from a really rich family (one of those Trust-Fund Kid)

He talked and act like a Con-man cos he making up lies and lies to cover the lies about him being a self-make businessman in the first place.

He should have just used the typical excuse that Trust-Fund Kid use. Telling everyone he is a Bit-coin Miner/Trader

I saw him at the WSOP a couple years ago. He was trying to get a bottle of water from a waiter. The waiter wouldn't give him one because he wasn't seated at a table. But he obviously wasn't getting service at his table which is why he was up and about trying to get GD bottle of water. His exchange with the waiter was passionate, empathetic, convincing, and yet ultimately futile. But then a guy a table asked for and received a bottle of water and handed it to him lol. He thanked the man and ran back to his table. The waiter was satisfied he hadn't broken any rules. And the game moved on.

I think his con is something with getting people to pay him for his gambling coaching, but I’m not too sure how the whole thing works because I haven’t looked into it, just heard him mention it before.

But my hypothesis for his money is dark web drug dealer who hit it big with crypto, then cleaned money through casinos.

If I'm just looking for someone to spin me a yarn, there are fairy tails out there far more entertaining than Mikki Mase.

what, you don't enjoy sweeping epics told in vague generalities?
