Mega Charity **CLOSED*** Raffle for David O TWENTY ONE ITEMS TO WIN (1 Viewer)

As you are all aware from the thread that @pltrgyst posted @David O recently lost his wife. I had some people reach out expressing interest in contributing to the charity cause due to the AS raffle thread I started https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/charity-as-hotstamp-tournament-sample-set.28472/. Some people have made private donations while others have expressed they would like to raffle off some items to raise additional funds. As such, I am opening this up to the community to assist in raising additional funds to go to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the ISCA Red Sneaker Fund in Annette's name.

If you want to donate, I will take donations via this thread, or pm if you prefer to remain anonymous (let me know if you want your raffle spots as well). If you have items that you would like to add to this raffle to help gather more interest please shoot me a PM and I will update this thread. ***Please note: I have family in town, and a family situation on my side of the family that I'm also dealing with so I might be slower in responding than I usually am. I will do the best I can under the circumstances.

Starting donations will be $20 and 1 ticket will be awarded for each $10 donated. I will take donations till 11:59pm CDT on April 6th. After that I will establish another thread to conduct the actual raffle with numbers assigned. We will do one draw a day for each individual lot. Any winning number will be eligible to win in future drawings.

***Members that have already made donations to me or made a bid in my auction thread will be award 1 ticket for their contributions already.

Will give a series of numbers based upon the number of entries and then from there we will use the evening draw of a state lottery to determine the winning number. I'll just assign a lot number to a draw date.

I woke up to an email this morning that really made my day. First because the donation (wow, $2500) went to a great organization that Annette and I loved and supported and it was donated in honor of my wife.

I wanted to say thank you to each and every community member that made this happen. The last few weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster and your support really is a bright light during this time in my life. I am really humbled and hope to carry this generosity and "good light" forward. Thank you to all that either emailed or pm'd me via PCF and Chip Donkeys. Thank you for the many prayers over the last 6 months and thank you for the "light" and positive thoughts. These prayers, Light and thoughts were very comforting and much appreciated by Annette and me.

I am looking forward to seeing some of you in the near future so I can personally thank you and I hope that in the coming years I am able to meet many of you that I have not personally met. I feel is if this community is an extension of my family and I hope that many of you feel the same way. Whether it be on PCF or on Chip Donkeys this community, in my eyes, is a group of great human beings and I hope we continue to grow.
