looking at the possibility of custom Matsuis, but it's been a while since i've handed them. i remember them being pretty slippery and have been admonished by several people to grab a stack for handling before i commit to the design and order.

so...anyone have 20 they want to sell me? looking for 39mm/40mm size. i don't really care if they're all the same chip or all different chips or what. i guess it would be cool if i could buy a couple sample sets of the nicer Matsui customs that have been commissioned, but i'll take what i can get.

if you can't scrounge together 20, i'll take as few as 12, but i would prefer to have a full stack. shipping will be to 08742, so let me know how much you need and your paypal address. thanks in advance!

I think I have a stack of the $100 Zen's...let me check when I get home. I know for sure I have 4 sample sets of the WSOP tributes in 39 and 44mm if you want them as well.

I'm only basing this off the Matsuis I've owned (WSOP tributes). They are very, very nice to look at - the colors are absolutely brilliant in person. But they are incredibly slick and certainly aren't everybody's cup of tea. Your friends are smart for suggesting you get samples first. Good luck!

Agreed. They are beautiful, especially in a splashed pot. But it took a few sessions of chip flying all aver the place before we figured out how to handle them. lol

Wish I had kept my set. But I think Links is planning on another GB...!

Don't forget about that thread on ol' blue about how to make slick chips sticky. :p

"lemme sticky up your slick chip" okay, that sounds pretty dirty.....

Actually, I could use exactly 20 $100 Zen's and I have $25s to spare.
Maybe we can do a 3 way trade?
jbutler, I will spit the total shipping with you to help offset the intl cost.
Collin, what do you think?

Nice! Thanks Collin - let me know what you have and I'll make my selections :)

Haven't responded to your pm yet, but yeah I'm down with that. As soon as I hear back from Collin I'll let you know and we'll work it out.

PAZ - thank you! I've actually arranged to get some samples from Collin, but if that falls through for whatever reason, you'll definitely see a PM from me :)

They don't call PAZ the nicest guy on the Internet for nothing...

I was entertaining the idea of Matsui plaques for 25,000 for my set. I wish I never saw the perfecto set plaques and I'm too scared to even look for a sample.

Jack, does this mean your CPC set has been shelved?

Definitely not. Though I am waiting on some mold availability developments and the opportunity to handle the scroll mold samples from the Rounders GB before I know what I'm doing for sure on one of the CPC sets. I've still got a set in the very preliminary stages on the H-mold, too, though, so I'm going in a lot of directions at once.

Yeah, but if anyone who bought a sample set off me also purchased a plaque means I don't need to purchase as many for myself... :)

Big thanks to Collin who shipped his 20 Zen T100s over the border at no charge! Super nice. And thanks to Greg (fish72) who shipped his T25s up to me.

Really glad I got samples. They are quite a bit slipperier than I remember. Not sure my big dumb players could handle big stacks of them in cash games. Such gorgeous chips, though...still tempted...
