Hi all, looking for a barrel of Mapes Casino TRK's. Would really like 10 each of the $1's and $5's to get a feel for them. I will probably never be looking for an entire set of them, but would at least like a look at them in real life. Despite so many years in the hobby, I know very little about TRK chips. TIA!

GLWS ;)

Mapes $5s are the same chip as Money Tree $5s (technically the casino was the Mapes Money Tree).
They are much lighter weight than the $1s (~9.1g vs ~11.2)
The MT $5s will most likely be easier to find then the Mapes $5 and a little less expensive.

You seem to know things, any chance you can educate me on pricing? It seems this may be a fools errand with regards to Mapes chips, but if Money Tree’s are attainable I may have to search for those instead.

I owned a set of Money Trees (still have some $.50s and $5s) and currently have a set of Mapes (guess what, I still need more $1s  )
The Mapes are hard to come by (at least in any quantity). They are out there, but not cheap.
The prices will defintely vary, but the single $1s - double digits and up depending on condition (unless you get lucky). A notched $1 will be cheaper. The Money Tree $5s.. maybe in the $6 range, the Mapes $5 probably a couple dollars more... if you can get someone to release them.

Well that more than likely settles it then, if others are already chasing rare chips I’ll stay out of the way. I only want a shuffle stack or two right now, so maybe I’ll look at some Money Tree $5’s to scratch the itch.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

I think Spinettis has money tree red $5s and you could probably get a barrel fairly easy there if they do have
