I was there in October. Went to Luxor at like 1 in the morning, nobody there. Craps is my game Andretti with a few minty 1’s. Maybe very good. I’ll see when I get home in the morning.

were you trying to harvest or just have a bad run at craps and that was all that was left?

chips look really really quite nice when they are in good shape. Trust when spacemonkey is saying his guys are getting garbage that that's all that's on those tables presently.

We weren’t even there to play. Simone in the group was like I’ve never played, so we made her throw the dice. I’ve never “harvested” just “borrow” a few chips here and there when we go. They looked too good not to snag a few.

I plan to remove the inlay so inlays that go onto the hose mold part are a no-go.

It was easier to harvest these a couple years ago when there was $1 side bets on the blackjack tables. Could easily ask for $1s without much suspicion. Would probably have to do it @craps now. It's getting tougher and the chips are getting more and more worn.

I managed to get 260 before the $1 side bets were gone, thank goodness. It took 3 trips to Vegas and probably over 20 hours total on the tables. Just slowly collected around 80-90 a trip. It's my absolute favorite $1 vegas chip. I like casino royale too but it's impossible to get those in quantity.

You have to harvest @luxor during very busy times. Use the waitresses too. Give them a $5 when you order a drink and say "I'll take $1 chips as change". Or just straight up stop a table waitress and ask if you can buy $1s off them for a tip. The cage is no help here and the table card dealers are VERY stingy with their racks.
