Howdy partners! I’m a long time Poker amateur in Essex, UK. Started playing weekly tournaments in my mate’s garage over some beers and a few joints back around 2005. I didn’t really know what I was doing back then but we had a great time. A long hiatus followed where life and kids happened and I forgot all about poker.
A little while back I was clearing out my old house and came across a Dan Harrington book that I’d never read, so out of curiosity I thought I’d give it a go. Anyway, long story short, reading that book lit that fire again and I’ve really got back into it - playing online, occasional trips to the casino. Now thinking about building out a decent chip set and hopefully hosting some small poker tournaments for friends/ family, so I’ve found myself on PCF!
