Looking to buy 20,000 poker chips with a custom label (1 Viewer)

hey all i own an ice cream shop and i would like to make a reward system with poker chips! i was wondering if any one knows of something or some one that could help me with this at a low cost for such a larger order thanks!

I would look at the TINA card mold which is around 40 cents a piece.

I agree most cost effective would likely be custom Tina ceramics. But I’d opt for no-mold textured. They’re 6¢ cheaper per chip, at least in recent group buys, which for 20k chips would save you $1200.

Agree. BRPro would have more security. And I think the quality is better.

The only issue with chinese cards mold is that a child who is enterprising in your neighborhood could also order copies of your chips due to lack of chinese copyright and all of a sudden you have 20k of chips in liability..... It may sound ridiculous, sadly it may not be I am currently in disney world and yesterday saw a woman and child called out for having a fake "make a wish" badge and security called and them escorted out.... I thought there were limits, but apparently not.

If OP requests the design not be sold to anyone else, Tina has said she’d try to respect no-reprint requests. Plus unless the design is advertised by Tina or posted on PCF, it would require one of OPs customers to be in-the-know about where he got the chips, and then ordering them individually to defraud probably isn’t worth it since the the cost of an individual order costs a decent amount unless buying at a huge quantity.

Security is definitely a concern with Tina's, but I don't know the likelihood of someone ordering these at 40 cents a piece to scam an ice cream shop. It would probably be a net loss to run the scam versus the cost of the product. But who knows.

Make the chips worth a quarter in store credit and it’s be a losing proposition for someone to copy.

I placed an order with her after getting some help here with the design. It went pretty good. I did ask her not to sell to anyone else but it's up to her if she sticks with it. I would think if it's a design that no one else would want but me, there is no incentive in pissing off everyone else on here to sell a couple of my chips. She sells a lot more in the group buys and I would think it would jeopardize her sales on here.

Yep just because I wanted them. Couldn't afford them anywhere else.

There are promotional poker chips that are much cheaper than card mold ceramics. ABC Gifts and Awards a.k.a BR Pro poker will probably have lots of different options for you.

These are not for playing, so there's no point in investing in a play-quality set.

Such a cool idea. If you go with the Tina chips, there's talk of a new mold coming. One of the options that was suggested is cherries, which would probably fit well with an ice cream shop themed chip. From what I've read for a large enough order they will even make you your own mold.

Shenzhen City Chenglin Industrial Co., Ltd on Alibaba, I believe. There's members here who have dealt with them...I'd contact them first. Do a forum search for Tina group buys.
