Looking for some advice on getting into custom chips (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

New member here looking to find my way in building a cash set for my home game. I have been browsing the many poker chip sets on the for sale and auction sections and Im blown away by what is available. I found myself a bit to slow to pull the trigger on a really nice ceramic chip set before it was sold off.

So looking for a way to either re-create it myself or figure out how the group buying situation works. I understand Tina group buys are popular and would like to go that route if I could first understand how to create and submit my own designs, or at least use some already created designs.

Any advice on this is much appreciate as I find my bearings in this new community.

There's a lot of options out there so it's recommended to get samples so you can see and feel some different types of chips before you commit to anything. If you're interested in ceramics from Tina, Justin has sample sets which can help you decide what mold or size you want. Outside of Tina there are many other ceramic options, china clays, up to compressed clay chips all with different designs, textures, and customizability. A lot of retailers sell sample sets, or you can often find them for sale here as well.

Just throwing this out there since it's easy to see all the chips on here and not really know what you actually want other than something that you think looks cool, and while a few hundred bucks for a set of Tina's isn't even close to big money on this site, it still would suck to wait 3 months for your customs to arrive and be disappointed for whatever reason.

I can highly recommend Brpro for ceramics as well.
