Hello everybody.

I’m looking for advice for the perfect 1 table tourney breakdown. This is what I have so far.

Breakdown:

25 x 120
100 x 120
500 x 60
1000 x 80
5000 x 20

I have more chips if need be.

Regards, John.

Depends on starting stack size & blind structure.

Assuming 10 players....

If you start with 100BB stacks & blinds of 25/50, that's 50K in play & 50 1Ks would cover the amount of chips in play. 5Ks wouldn't even be needed.

If you start at 25/25 & 100BB then 50 500s would be enough to cover it all.

What you've got would work with 200BB stacks (10K) starting at 25/50 blinds. (or 400BB deep starting at 25/25)

With starting stacks of.....

t25 x 12
t100 x 7
t500 x 4
t1K x 7 (or t1K x 2 + t5K x1)

It's tight with a 400 chip set, but it'll work.

T10,000 tourney with 10 runners? It will work 12/12/5/6, with plenty for rebuys and color-ups. Could even handle T15K.

120/120/50/80/30 doesn’t look as pretty in racks, but offers more flexibility for deeper stacks and/or rebuys.

we start our tourneys at either 10/15 or 20k and just start blinds at 100/200 dont need many starting chips at all depending on how many people you have
