i thought i was being pretty irresponsible when i came looking to spend as much as $1 a chip. ... 6 months later i bought my first rack for $10/chip.

falling down the rabbit hole, let me know what's out there for a starter set.

• mostly do cash games of 5-8 people, so anywhere between 400-600 chips is fine
• wouldnt mind at least one set of fracs maybe 0.25 or 0.50
• in addition to the frac maybe some sort of mix of 1, 5, 25, 100
• ideally located in Canada to save a few pesos on shipping / duty
• if i had to rank, in my limited experience preference: clay, bud jones, ceramic, and china clay distant 4th

I have a 500 chip set of milanos only used maybe four times. 50 cent $1 $5 $25 and a few $100
