Hey there folks, it’s perhaps time I’ve said hello and a quick intro as my first post.

I was an active member on older chip sites back in the day, and have been perusing this site for several years before I officially joined in 2016 .. so yes, first post 9 years later after joining. Have been collecting playable sets since the early 2000’s. My collection consists mostly of chips by Paulson and Chipco.

I may not become an avid poster, but wanted to say hi and I’m around here and there.

Fun Fact:
Some of you may remember me from the other chip sites, where I designed and kicked off the Kings Crown T.R. King hot stamp group buy (run by @Nanook — is this you here?) .. one of the last sets to be manufactured before T.R. King closed.

Welcome back to chipping, @jello-broom!

Epic group buy! Some of the stamps were worn out there were so many chips produced!

I regret selling my small solid cash set, but I am amazed that I don't see these sets available for sale more often.

Thought your name was familiar...You helped with my Back to the Future hotstamp chips.

I also disappeared for 10-15 years and just had a new BTTF custom delivered in the last few weeks :)

IIRC, the dies for the stamps were sent to BCC by Dennis at TRK .. where they are now or if any exist still, no idea.

From that group buy I had an awesome edge spotted tourney set that I regrettably also sold off many years ago. Which is a main reason since then I rarely sell off sets I aquire.

Yup, I did design several things for several folks back then. Defintely remember the Hill Valley hot stamps. I’m sure I have files, mockups, and photos in my digital archive somewhere.

Amazing you still have that email from 2006!

Welcome I remember your username from Chiptalk and I think HomePokerTournament or HPT back in the day!

Hey there @jello-broom ... do I also recall you from the old HomePokerTourney forums me and folks like @WedgeRock and @detroitdad lived at back in the day? (RIP nutn2lewz)

That’s right! :cool That’s what I was referring to as the “older chip sites” in my OP — HPT was my first chip forum. The memories!
