These are going to be a catch and release for me. They are very, very nice chippies but just didn't quite work for my project. And I'm really trying hard not to hoard chips that I might use someday. And so back into the wild they go...

I completely agree with Ethan's description "Excellent condition apart from a few fleabites, light bath needed, and one inlay was removed. Would make a beautiful THC quarter relabel."

What kind of inlay are they? Aka how easy are they to remove?

Well, neither Ethan or I removed the inlay on the one chip so I'm not exactly sure how difficult they will be to remove. They are the older, textured type of inlay - not the newer smooth inlay (ie boat chips). So if I had to guess I would say they might require a little more work to get the underneath sticker off. But that's just speculation on my part.

edit... but they are in nice condition so I'd definitely say they'd take a label-over the existing inlay no prob.

Beautiful! Are these common or unique? Would it be difficult to find more in this shade?

I wouldn't say Lilac is entirely rare - you'll definitely see starbursts and other monogrammed hot stamps in that color. But you'd have to mill out the hotstamp if you wanted to do a nice clean relabel job.

But inlayed lilacs? That's probably a little tougher find.
