LeLe's PCF Journey (4 Viewers)

An updated of my existing set-ups that I have accumulated till date.

I am hosting much lesser nowadays but hoping to start running it up again soon in Oct when my busy work schedule is over.

Still somewhat in semi-retired mode and doing some adding on here and there. Also, waiting for @Stas to be back active so I can do some much needed add on to my B&G set.

Nice collection! My favorite here is the Opus.

How does the CIC set play? Does it feel like your Opus or B&G set?

Thanks, I am happy to have a chance to own a set of those when they become available.

All 3 of them felt and sound different to me as most different plastic set do.

My friends mostly have very polarizing feedback on CIC, I like them myself because of its uniqueness and using vastly different setup is more fun to me too.

I sold them a couple of months ago, my tastes changed and no longer enjoyed worn chips as much anymore :x
I get it. Always a good day when you realize something just doesn't do it for you anymore.
I've sold all my RHC just because I prefer THC.
Condition is no deal breaker for me but I love playing with broken in chips. Slightly rounded edges are the nuts.

Updated Post #14 - Part I
Horseshoe Cincinnati Cash Set

Gotten my labels and relabel done with a new Fracs & $1 to match the rest of the lineout.

This is my first try at labeling but I have some mixed feelings about the quality of the labels.

These had been a 9 months project in the making and I am very excited and can't wait to felt them in my next home game.

Also, I wonder if I should add a third rack of $5 to this set in the future. Chippers mentality

BTP 43mm Card Mold Cash Set

At last, I did an add-on and received them during the weekends, the $500 add-on was so disappointing with how off is the colour differences from the original batch. (Luckily, the $500 add-on will never be in play as I just have them to fill up a rack)

Other than that, the other is pretty good and no issue with the slight variant here and there.

I have just about the ideal 1,200 chip set that can cover any stake that I want and it also came with the PCF recommended 4 racks of $5.

Small updates on add-on to the set before the end of the year,

(i) Condado Plaza CIC Set

Added a third rack of $5 to the existing set, decided to get them before they are eventually sold out in the future plus 3 racks of $5 is my preferred # of workhorse rack now.

Updated Chips Breakdown (Stake for 1/2 to 2/5)
- $1 x 100
- $5 x 300
- $25 x 200
- $100 x 100
- $500 x 60

(ii) Diamond Jack Sec Set

Added a fourth rack of $5 & 2nd rack of $25 to the existing set from the latest TCR sales.

It will be dumb to not add on the set when the price for Mint chip is priced at $1/chip.

Updated Chips Breakdown (Stake for 25c/50c to 1/3)
- 25c x 100
- $1 x 200
- $5 x 400
- $25 x 200
- $100 x 100

need updated family pictures!

need updated family pictures!
Might do it during Year 3 haul instead, rather busy with work at year end

A pedal to the metal kinda guy fits right in here. LoL... I just have two questions. Are u married? And does she know?
Haha, the excess disposable money saved during covid help to fast track the collection a bit

Yes I am married and she does know, I did slowed down a lot for the collection in the past 6 months as I got a better understanding of what I liked and disliked. And also I having a newborn early next month too and raising baby is very expensive over here

The load bearing per shelf is advertised at 36 kg and it used durable iron reinserts boards but still I am only going to try to limit within 18-20kg just in case

There's still a reasonable chance it will bow over time. 20kg is only 2000 chips, after all. Less if you have any "official" casino weight.
