God almighty, this pisses me off. Does anyone know why this was done to these chips? Was it purposely?

No idea. I thought they were just standard rack checks but these are the worse I’ve seen of them.

I’ve owned mint versions of these and they’re truly nice chips
Top 5 RHC $100, hands down.
One of my favorite chips. Just wish the rest of these could match these.

The cage checks the racks at every shift change to verify the bank. They grab a chip from the rack and run it across the barrels to make sure no more chips can fit. So imaging one of those black chips running across the inlays 3 times a day. Without proper rotation, you get damage like these.
