So I found these locally, are they worth it for 16c a pop?

Make a few stacks, 20 high. Slide multiple stacks into the middle all at once. Also, bump the table with your hip.
If the chips remain stacked, yeah, I’d say you got your moneys worth (assuming you like how they look.)

Perhaps. I would say half that.

You sure? i looked around and it seems og price was around 10-16 cents / chip.
Just cant find alot of infos on these chips as they seem quite old, so thought somebody might know if they are garbage or not for that price. Though i doubt for that price i can go much better (but a lot worse ).

Anyway the dude is selling a case of 500 for 65 €.

Decent chips, no metal slug, very glossy laminated labels (can be a glare issue with bright direct lighting). Softer plastic material, older versions are very china clay-like in feel (newer versions are slicker and more plastic like). Somewhat slippery but not overly so, and they shuffle okay.

Easy to relabel if desired (deep recess, labels come off clean but they stay adhered under normal use. They also made an oversized-label version (same colors and artwork) that are not nearly as nice.

Last I checked, you could find online sales for $10 per 25-chip roll, or 4c/chip. Personally, I wouldn't spend over 10c each.

I have about 3,000 of 'em, bought long ago. Was my first non-dice non-slugged chip purchase.

Thanks man, that's a lot. You mean 4 cents or .4 cents / chip? I guess the later as you said 10$ per 25 stack which would be 0,4 dollars/chip.

They are 4 cents each in bulk here, and other places:

Ideastage.com

@JustinInMN sold his 600-chip set for 7.5 cents per chip three years ago.

I think your seller is very optimistic with his pricing.

Thanks guys, sadly I can't open the page probably geolocked @BGinGA . Probably the shipping would ruin the price anyway though. Based on your extensive posts I made an offer for about 9c as the chips have a good feel (got to touch some) and sound nice.

At the same time for a little more I found these and am looking into getting a sample. https://pokershop.de/Pokerchip-Joker-Casino-5

Totally different chip.
Can not recommand the Joker chips. Far too slippery and light. The Las Vegas pro can be found from time to time at Kleinanzeigen.
Some of my chips had a not centered label which led to stacking issues. But most chips stack realy nice.

The Joker chips are similar to the Desert Palms. Doesn't look bad but as said too light too slippery in my opinion.

Agree on the Jokers; 9g but a harder and more slippery plastic.

Also don't recommend the oversize label Las Vegas chips -- totally different feel from the 1" label version, due to very little material friction because of a significantly smaller chip-to-chip contact area.
