I know I am in the minority, but the PNY's really don't do it for me. I think its the giant ugly inlay.

I'm with you...these chips are not my favorites, either. And I don't have endless trunks of money to spend on chips, either. Current bid ($2325.00) works out to $2.19 / chip? Wow...

At this time, the price is really cheap.
By the rack, as i know, $1, $20 and $500 are expensive
Around $250 - $300 for the $1
$700 - $800 for the $20 and the same for the $500 (may be a bit less)
For me, the $500 is the best chip of the set (and one of my prefered all chips )

That's what I was thinking. Even it it sells for $2,500, someone who is looking break it up to sell it as single chips, barrels, etc, there is still plenty of money to be made. Even someone who just needs a certain denom, they could keep what they want and sell the rest to recoop their money and make a little extra.

No doubt, there are a lot of chips in the set that you really just don't see on the market that often, especially in this quantity.

I've been contemplating what kind of bid is going to be needed. I don't think my pockets are going to be deep enough, lol.

I thought about buying it, but I could do much more with the money towards my basement remodel. EX: granite wet bar counter. and upgrade my HT speakers ;)

Looks like the high bidder is selling some off already. :) I wouldn't put that many auctions up at one time though.

Why do you have a red arrow pointing at the calculated feedback rating?

Edit: never mind. Just clicked the link for the eBay auction. The funny thing is that the seller is in Canada, but the ads indicate that shipping is only to the US. Even Canadians are discouraging sales to Canada...

Yeah, I was showing that the winning high bidder and the seller of current PNY auctions have the same amount of feedback. Probably the same person. Maybe the shipping thing is just a typo on his end. Or the chips are being dropped shipped by the original seller. I hope the seller is keep some of them, as they are nice chips to have.
