Wanted Large Cards Mold Cash set - Canada (1 Viewer)

Friend of mine is looking for a 1500-2000 pc cash set for 1-2 and 5-5.

I'm trying to get him to place a Tina order but he seem like he's on a tight-ish deadline.

Anyone have any largish sets in Canada that they're looking to part with?

Help me, help him from ordering a set of 14g slugo chips.

That's a lot of chips. How many players/tables does he want to cover? Doesn't sound like he's partial to cards mold if 14g sluggos are in consideration. What about casino sluggos, like these Tropicanas?

Even the set that's being sold would work for a single-table 5/5. There's 300/100/100 of $5/$25/$100 or a bank of $14k, which is 28 buy-ins at 100 BBs for 5/5, so enough for one table I would think...

Hmm, can't edit my comment (maybe because it's a Wanted post). I don't think Jim ships to Canada, but maybe you have a reshipper. Sounds like your friend is in a big hurry so international shipping may not be fast enough.

The plan is for the set to cover 2x $1/$2 tables and 2x $5/$5 tables running at simultaneously. (100bb cap)

That IS a lot of chips. Now that I think about it, that's probably more like 3000 chips.

That Tropicana set would be great actually but it's good for one table. I'd like him to get a Tina set since they're an amazing value especially when ordering this quantity.

Not sure if this is a good breakdown for each respective table.

I'd think those breakdowns are good for both tables at each stake, I personally don't think he'd need that amount per table.

$14.7k bank for a single 1/2 table is 73.5 buy-ins at the 100bb cap. With 10 players at a table, does your friend expect to need an average ~7 buy-ins per player per table?

Likewise, $44k is 88 buy-ins of 100bb, or nearly 9 buy-ins per player per table. So I think your spreadsheet screenshot is probably good for the whole game (3-4 buy-ins per player per table x2 for each stake), and that's 1550 chips.

3000 chips seems overkill, but I agree cards molds are an amazing value and buying once insures a consistent set as far as colors from one print run, and futureproofs for expansions.

I'm seeing the guy tonight with samples. I'd like him to buy my Mountain top set, but he needs more. There happens to be another Mountain Top set in the classifieds. Could go that route.
