I suck at poker, so in the continued replenishment of my dwindling bankroll I’m selling off extra project chips.

I really really love this rack, something about the pastel green and shaped inlays does it for me, but they don’t fit into my current Cali relabel project. Chips are in great used condition, all sharp edges, very light wear and are nice weighted leaded Paulsons.

Interesting, they are 39mm baccarat chips? In my limited knowledge, I just assumed (based on the Dunes) that all baccarat chips were oversized. Great colors, GLWS!

All of the King Intl baccarat chips are 39mm, it is interesting as most Vegas Baccarat are oversized. Not sure if this is to differentiate them from the rest of the casino chips or what. Still blows my mind that Aria has $5k (and possibly $25k and $100k chips) that are only 39mm. Their baccarat rack is 43 and 48mm I believe.

I think Baccarat players in Vegas want to feel special, so they get bigger chips. I don't think that applies in Aruba.

I never thought about the international vs USA baccarat chips being thought of different and different sizes. Food for thought.

I also noticed that lots of the oversized baccarat chips are on house molds too.

Unless I misunderstood or was misinformed... my understanding was that a lot of casinos kept baccarat numbers (profits/losses) separate from the rest of the casino's earnings, due to the super high variance and much lower "house odds".. Hence the specific "baccarat only" chips. Guessing the diff size is to make it easier to know where they belong... So to speak.
