KEY WEST STATUS UPDATE:
RUNNING OUT OF CHIPS!

I wanted to let everyone here on PCF know that I'm out of some denominations of Key West chips.

Since news spread here that Classic Poker Chips will be taking some time to move their factory, I've been inundated with orders for large numbers of Key West chips. My supply of Key Wests, which is usually around 10,000 chips, dwindled down rapidly last year and was very low several months ago.

Current supply of Key Wests:

I still have Key West chips in most denominations. Nickels, quarters, $1s and $5s are just about gone.

What this means for the future of Key West:

Key West chips will still be available in the future. Like everyone here, I'm anxiously awaiting the reopening of Classic Poker Chips at their new factory in Washington State. I'm looking forward to placing a new order with CPC Mike and wishing him great success.

Future Key West pricing and discounts:

I've always offered Key West chips sold to members here at cost, offering a PCF member discount based on my "average" chip cost, including chips that were bought in the past, when prices were lower. Since that supply of older, lower-cost chips has dwindled, my average price per chip will increase when I receive my next order of Key Wests from Classic.

The price of new chips plus the price of older chips, averaged out, will be a bit higher.

There will still be PCF member discounts, but they likely won't be (- $0.37) per chip.

I'll be doing everything I can to keep the Key West line of chips alive and available to members here.

I wanted to be as transparent as possible about current availability as we move forward to make more great chips with Classic soon. If you need some higher-denom chips or have questions, you can always PM me here.

Just to update everyone on this:

Immediately after posting this, I received requests or orders for literally several thousand Key West chips -- most for the denominations that were fewest left.

I'm out of those denominations.
