That's nice and all, but, this is ground zero for horse racing. Just like with horses, it's in the blood, and therefore I inherently know more about horse racing... so this little contest highly favors my handicap, um, handicapping skills.

I have a friend whose brother was a triple crown winning jockey. He couldn’t pick horses for . That was his handicap. But he’s an outlier. Like you, living in horse country makes me an expert. Also on bourbon. And the more I have of the latter the more of an expert I become on the former.

I’ve been going to the track since Riva Ridge won the MassCap. Live 5 minutes from Suffolk Downs. I go to Saratoga every year and spread my Dad’s ashes in the infield there next to Go For Wand .
