I just checked a box of Kem Arrow back bridge size cards I bought back sometime in '06-'07. Still look excellent & flat as the day they were new. Played with them about a dozen times or so. Been sitting in their plastic box on my desk for about 5-6 years. What causes them to warp? Incorrect storage? Age? Usage?

I think it's all the negative thoughts about them.

Deleted, just saw Manamongs comment about home cards KEMS.

BTW there were a Shitload of Fox Kem cards sold in aftermarkets that were made pre 2004.

Damn, so I ordered these yesterday. Today afternoon 3pm my time got an email from Amazon saying my item has been dispatched. And just now 23:30ish I get another email saying my order has been cancelled and refunded because they run out!

That sucks which ones did you order?

Exactly same thing happened here. Thought it might be because I tried to have them shipped to Canada for normal US shipping price.

Same here ordered 2 Cleveland setups early on and just received a refund email stating item is out of stock.

Weird though when I login to Amazon the order says it shipped and hasn't been cancelled. No refund has hit my account. Don't know what to think at this point.

Me too. I have a tracking number so we will see if the shipment and the refund goes through.

My Cleveland setup has shipped and is out in the wild, scheduled to show up tomorrow.

Oddly enough my black/gold Cincinnati setup still hasn't even been processed, and I have Amazon Prime which is normally good for 1-2 day delivery from the time of ordering on items fulfilled by Amazon, even if sold by others. It shows that it's arriving Monday, but it still says "shipping soon" and doesn't have a tracking number generated yet.

Edit - Just shipped today a couple of hours after saying this.

My account now reflects a refund, so everything about this order is fubar. Obviously they didn't expect the volume and oversold their available stock.

I look forward to hearing your opinion on these, since you've been a little obsessed with casino Kems.
Btw, mine don't seem to be scheduled for delivery today, and that is some BS.
i will comment upon arrival

Tracking states that my order has left the mailing facility. I ordered one set of the red/blue.

I got delivery confirmations that say Monday.......but I don't know how that will happen since it's a USPS holiday.......(n)
Oh well, they'll get here eventually

i dont think the Cincis are Kems, for the record, they have "aristocrat" on the ace of spades, and no Kem markings

still produced by USPC, but thought people would want to know

check your decks carfully, on the Cincy red deck I have what looks like ink-bleed onto the top of the card, :(

Cle decks look good,

ignore the look of the decks from a side angle with all 52, kems never look like copags/modianos with being all completely flat at that view

the only tests I needed to do: to run my fingers along the edges of all 52 cards at once - sounds strange, but the consumer decks have lots of ticks and unrefined edges - these do not

the second test I would do is a corner peel, and let the card snap back into place - on the consumer cards, this would permanently bend them - these are good.

overall the Cle Kems are I think very good, standard kem casino decks post USPC

the Cincy decks are more plasticky- have more snap to them, but I hope im the anomaly with my ink-bleed . but these arent kems

Well, unlike that other card fiasco going on, this is amazon, and you can rest assured that they'll take care of you if you don't want them
