I love this set but having trouble justifying it for my one limit game a year with all my PCA acquisitions.

I did get to felt these! I paid $2000, if the auction goes above that number I will donate the extra to the winners charity of their choice.

I think there is your answer... everyone loves them but no one can field a good limit game. IMO even people who don't typically host cash or tournament games still buy cash / tourney sets because there is a least some hope of getting a game together one day. Limit not so much.

I sold @detroitdad an awesome limit set for a great price too. I still miss that set but I was never able to get it into play even though I tried.

If you have some PCFers who attend meetups your chances are dramatically increased in getting a game. Even higher if you attend meet ups as limit games are fairly common during a meet up.

For the record.. I love this set and I love playing limit. Maybe with limit getting more play and airtime on WSOP coverage it wiIl get more popular.

Plus, playing a limit game at home with friends for 4/8 is a ton cheaper than playing limit at the card rooms near me which are usually running 10/20 or something along those lines. Too rich for my subpar poker skills especially at limit games lol

Playing 4/8 limit at home is cheaper than playing .25/.50, $100.00 buy in........Unless you are @Hooligan350 lol

I think these chips are absolutely great and obviously the name connection makes them desirable. I just cannot envision a world where I’m running 2/2 limit. Believe you me I thought of a lot of excuses to try talking myself into buying this set.

They’re from a card room in Antioch, CA (near me!). The acquisition story is maybe not the most happy one from what I hear, but they’re here now that’s all that matters!

Also I played 1/10 stakes with these for $20 buy in clown limit. It was fun!

Aargh! If only there were enough for 3 tables...then again, 3 tables worth would put them back out of my price range.

This should be a snap buy for anyone looking to teach their hold'em group circus games. Limit circus is fun, and bankroll-friendly for learning
