Jumbo index for stud at WSOP - is that new? (1 Viewer)

I still haven’t seen them, because all I see are tv tables which use RFID cards, which they don’t have in jumbo. But they’re saying that for stud games at normal tables, they’ve been using jumbo index cards. Is that something new this year? Because I’ve shipped for a lot of WSOP cards and never seen jumbos.

That would be a game-changer, to have jumbo index WSOP cards available on eBay or Copag USA or whatever later...

yeah that’s news to me. Doesn’t mean they don’t exist, but I’ve definitely never seen any jumbo WSOP cards and I’ve definitely been looking for them for a while.

Jumbo index was present at WSOP televised tables. Cards were RDFI made by German company Pokertronic. Full bleed with Cartamundi faces....
So the one shown must be new, by looks they are also Copag cards...

Weird, I'm pretty sure the 2016 ones were not jumbo. From https://web.archive.org/web/20200812101407/https://www.copagusa.com/collections/wsop-cards, which is as far back as I can go:

There may also be differences between "WSOP" branded cards for sale, and cards that were the same as the ones used at the WSOP (whether actually used at WSOP, as are found on eBay, or same make as are found on Copag USA's site and also on eBay.)

Wonder if those new ones in jumbo index are the same as ones used in this year's WSOP. Doesn't have a year listed on the design.

Good call. Completely forgot these were Jumbo. Definitely were never for sale.

Saw this thread pop up on “similar threads” below. I’m thinking many tournaments and other televised events use jumbo just for the TV table and regular for all the other tables.

Jumbo index isn’t common for poker …at least I’ve never scene it in AC or Vegas.
