They acquired Greektown with the intention of rebranding it to JACK, but ultimately ended up flipping it before the rebrand ever fully launched. That sequence of events is what allowed @TheChipRoom to acquire all of the JACK DETROIT chips brand new and make them available to the community.

I like to call it the casino that was supposed to be, but never was.
