I think you have your answer ;)

I prefer the secondary.

Though it does depend on what you are pairing them with

So played my first cash game with the p25s and some s25s mixed in. While the s25s look great it was actually a little more difficult to play poker with them. The side spots made them blend in with the 5's pretty easily. The primaries were definitely easier to see. Just some general feedback.

Splash pot/dirty stack pictures please

I said secondaries because I like the spot pattern. It's one not used enough but even the primaries are pretty nice looking. You cant go wrong.

Anyone able to snap a couple pictures of dirty barrels? I'm at work and don't have the chips with me.

I wrestled between the primaries and secondaries... which ones to use alongside the $1s and $5s? And I tried so hard to convince myself to go with the secondaries cuz they are sooooo pretty. But once I started stacking chips, I did notice that the secondaries lent themselves to dirty stacks because of the heavy white used on the edgespots. The primaries were much more easily distinguishable.

I don't have any pictures of dirty barrels right now. When I get home, I'll try to remember and take some pics and post.

Argh. Is it blasphemy that I would consider trading off the $5s (or saving them for a cash set) and starting at the $25s for a tourney set in order to keep secondary $25?

So just to clarify something - we play a $.15/.30 cash game. So a $5 chip = $.05. Our starting stacks include 20 $5 chips and 20 $25 chips. So we have a lot of these chips in play at one time. The sec 25's and their white spots caused a lot of confusion with bets if like $.60 (25x2,5x2). We also played with the primaries and it's was a lot easier to see what was in play. We play with indirect lighting as well. Photos may not mimic that well.

The GO $5 and the GO/Primary $25 seem like they could have an issue as well.

I think there would be more of an issue with the secondary $25 over the primary.

I have two secondary $25 chips at home. I'll try to get dirty stack pics tonight.

I was playing with low light picture, I was more concerned about the secondary $25s so mostly took pics with those, but the primary $25 in a stack of GO $5 did blend in. I didn't get a pic of the $5 GO in the primary.
