Pelican vault 730.

I like the fact that it is one stack deep. Do you have a recommendation for a case to store 1000 and 1200 chips?

And if I can ask one more question, you store them without racks, how easy is it to get the right size with the pick 'n pluck foam? Well just one more. Did you treat the pick 'n pluck foam?

The pelican 1700 could probably fit 1200 easily. I would not recommend pick n pluck! Chips would be loose as you don’t get control over the exact width length and depth that you can have as you can only remove the size of the individual blocks. (Hopefully that makes sense). I went the custom route off their website and have done it for many things and never had any issues!

I’d have to check on both! I believe I did the polyethylene. If you design one online, it is super simple! Just do everything in millimeters not inches!

I can’t get to the exact design since it’s been a while since I had it made! There are a couple tools I used to align the slots vertically, group and evenly space everything! It’s really simple! I know the length of the chips I used was 67mm and they were the slightest bit lose. If possible I’d recommend shortening that a couple tenths

The 1525 Air also makes for a good candidate for a 1000 chip setup if you wanted to do two layers. Very light case. 7lbs to be exact.

I would be interested in buying a cash game set if your willing PM with cost. I would want 300 $1, 300 $5, 100 $25, and 40 $100.
This is some hardcore thread revival. I'm sure many pieces of this once plentiful gargantuan set has all been plundered upon...

I know because I have some of it. ;)

Id put up a wanted ad. See what that gets ya!

Good Luck!

If we’re gonna thread revive, then I’m curious how the house hunt is progressing @NewB ...

I just sort of went through it myself. Not my purchase, but my parents. They bought a lake home in the Poconos in PA as a weekend/vacation place, but since they’re fairly technologically illiterate, and we didn’t use a realtor on our end, I basically searched for and found the listings, drove with them to see places, etc...

When they did finally find a place they liked and put an offer in, I was surprised at how quickly it all had to come together. @JMC9389 mentioned attorney review, which is what I’m familiar with as a NJ resident. There’s apparently no such thing in PA.

From the time the seller accepted the offer and the initial agreement was signed, we had something like 14 days (not business days, this includes holidays and weekends) to get all inspections done, receive inspection reports, and do any final negotiations. We ended up tying things up on the very last day.

Closing costs are substantial, but I would echo what others have said. Get a quality inspector, don’t skimp on inspections, and make sure you’re able to walk away pending inspection results.
