I don't think you'll need to, but if you do split... I'd be interested in the 25s, 100s, and 500s. I already have too many 1s and 5s.

So many chips... that’s 3 sets

No that is one regular sized set. Sets should always be in multiples of 1k because birdcages are awesome. 600 is the only other acceptable answer. ;)

I just ordered some of these, if the ones and fives end up getting broken off I might take them.

Yup, agreed. This is a perfect set to host a lively 1/2 game. I had a similar set not too long ago and our crew loved playing with them. Only sold them because I have such a short attention span and went chasing the next shiny item..

GLWS! Great deal on these.

To each their own. I would personally rather have 2-3 different smaller sets rather than 1 large set where most likely the majority of the chips will never be in play at once. I do agree on the 600 number though. Most of my sets are 500-600 which is ideal.

I'm pretty sure many of us just have several large sets lol. Do I need 1500 chips in a set? No, but I do because moar chips!

The intention is also to handle different stakes. For my 0.25/0.50 game I use different chips than I would for 1/2 game, but the chip set is large enough to handle both and possibly a little bigger if we get to that point.
