So which are more desirable when building a set? If I had the option to purchase both chips in mint condition, which should I choose? Thanks.

GO chips typically can't be murdered, while traditional RHC chips can be. So that can be a huge factor depending on what your needs are.

Not exactly the same, but I have all GO $5s in my Jack Detroit set, and I'm extremely happy.

I like my set that had majority of $5 and $25 with some GO and Anniversary Chip mixed in it.

My Wife in particular like them and will separate them, keeping them in a different barrel and only use them when she used up all the regulars chips
