Same old story. Great Uncle had these chips now dude wants to know about them. He’ll end up here eventually unless someone gets him to offload them thru fb.

I saw these this morning on FB some chip group I follow. They are C and J hat and canes but still a sweet set.

Basically. Usually nobody offers enough on the chip collector group or the seller gets wind of the value and comes here or eBay.

What sucks about some of these scores is when posting them on a collector group the OP ends up listing these chips wayyy to high and they never get bought. No money is made for seller and people who want the chips can’t get em.

Chances are the seller isn’t into poker so they won’t use them but nobody is offering him a million bucks so he’ll sit on them.

Woulda been nice to see these listed on fb for $300 and then send dude another hundo. He gets a cold $400 (minus shipping) and then these can hit the felt or at least a collectors shelf.

What sucks about some of these scores is when somebody offers them $10 a chip to peel off a sample set (instead of $150 for the entire set) and then they think the whole set is worth $10 a chip. So it goes from $150 to $29,950 and just sits there.
