In please.
I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned this before, but my mother’s maiden name is Paulson. My cousin Rick is GPI’s Junior Vice President of Circumvention, Chicanery, and Secret Group Buys. He’ll get me all the custom sets WE want.
Just email me your designs and PayPal me $50 (friends & family), and I’ll get them to Rick.
Confirmed....design thread started on the dark side of the forum
You are missing the point that the home market is like 17 grains of sand on a beach to Paulson. They do what the casinos demand and that is not to serve peasants. Serve the king's only, and let the peasants steal food that has fallen from the plate. Here lately we have had peasants dress up in costumes and act like king's. To my surprise they passed, weather they intentionally turned a blind eye or were douped that is still TBD.Maybe its been mentioned already, but WRT the security angle as to why Paulson would never sell to home market: I get colors and edge spots being a risk (and they’d never repeat a color scheme). And, I’ve also seen the videos of guys air brushing forged chips. So I get that too....
But isn’t all of this easily mitigated with the mold? A mold hat’s clearly a home/consumer would be the best security of all and hardest to forge IMHO? (Like they used to do.) In fact, makes me wonder why all casinos don’t use a house mold? If security is so important, this seems huge.
But, I’m guessing the folks at casinos and Paulson are smarter than me, so there’s probably something here I’m missing??
Might be easier to assume everyone is in and just have an opt out thread. It will take up much less pages![]()

You nailed it IMO. It’s all about the image of security regardless of whether they could produce a home market line that could never be mistaken for a live casino chip they make.A GPI rep told me they left the home market for lack of demand. Rightly or wrongly from their perspective the demand is not enough. I was trying to get them to do a new run of WTHC chips and was shut down.
From my limited experience security is on the forefront of everyones mind. GPI is a casino supplier. This is the image they want to project. Without getting into details of molds etc. It doesnt make sense for one company to supply both national fiat currency and monopoly money.
Whether an actual security risk exists or not doesnt matter. It is a bad look. Selling toys vs. currency are totally different industries. It is only us crazies on PCF that blur the lines.

And not the bud jones or B&G brands eitherThis would make total sense, except GPI sells chips to the home market all the time. Just not under the Paulson Brand. The reps I have emailed with sent me a full catalog of different chips I could order anytime, they are just all trash.
You gotta go to the meetups and ingratiate yourself with the "in" crowd.

An STPLT* mold coud be ideal, just to fit in between two concentric circular lines, producing the sound just eveybody loves here, when shufflingSo.. We invest in crafting a PCF house mold, and we're good, right?
