I have a game coming up this 29th and the guys want me to run a tournament. I already have a different game set up for the 31st so I don't want to use the DDLM's even though that concept is amazing for halloween.

It's a bond theme, so I want to use the chips I have. These are what I have available that aren't currently being used in my cash sets, any advice on running a 16-18 player MTT and breakdowns??

300 x Jack cinci $1's
300 x Jack cincii $5's
160 x Jack cinci $25's
100 x Jack cinci $100's
40 x Jack cincii $500's
12 x 43mm $1000's
10 x plaques $10,000

unlikely to use:
20 x HSI $25 primary
100 x blue flamingo $1's
200 x HSI $1 primaries

Random barrels of $500's and $100's (HSI)

Looking quickly, a t5 base (5-25-100-500) gets you pretty close. There are some t1 structures on here somewhere that would very likely work with the amount of 1s-5s-25s you have.

T1000

Starting stacks: 15/12/9/2/1. Leaves plenty of T100's and T500's to cover re-buys and for chipping up.

Twenty minute levels, unless noted otherwise.

I'm with @dmoney, I'm thinking base T5. 15/9/7/2 of T5/25/100/500 for T2000 starting stack. You have 17 clean stacks from this, and you would be two T25's short of an 18th stack. (Could probably fudge that with extra T5s if necessary) Though you would only have 5 rebuys available among your excess T500 and an addition six rebuys from your T1000 chips.

If 11 rebuys seems risky, then I think base T1 becomes your only choice as @Mojo1312 is suggesting. Though I would probably do a T400 starting stack with blinds starting at 1-2, 1-3, 2-4, and so on. You can get 17 stacks of 15/12/9/1 of T1/5/25/100 for a T400 start, again two T25 chips short of 18 stacks. And then you have plenty of excess 100s and 500s to accommodate rebuys and color ups.

But I think these are your only choices from the jack cincinnati set. You don't have enough high chips here to do a base 25.

The good news is it looks like I’m settled for the bond night as I have another set of chips but I’ll be using. However this is still really helpful for building a nice clay travel tournament set

The more I think about it, the more I think T1 would be the way to go ... something like 10/13/5/1 for 18x t300 stacks with blinds starting at either 1/1 or 1/2. Plenty of 25s and 100s for color-ups and rebuys. The full rack of 100s (aka t10k) covers 33 buy ins alone, so even if half the field rebuys (27 buy ins) you'd be covered, with the 40x500s as an absolute backstop if it ever came to that.

The tournament would end near the 200/400 level when there are about 20bbs in play if my math is right.
